Good smell Consuming it naturally creates a state of happiness and peace in the mind. This smell is
absorbed and transported to the limbic system in the brain. The mind and body will act according to the
nature of that smell. For example, involuntary smiling when smelling flowers, sneezing, irritation, and
emotional outbursts when smelling spicy spices. In that sense, the treatment method using natural
aromatic oils is called ‘Aroma Therapy’. Essential oils such as lavender, tea tree, lemon, peppermint are
often used, while aroma oils are also made from jasmine, rose, cinnamon bark, sandalwood, orange,
ginger, almond etc.
Aromatic oils massage for mental health
I would take drops of any one of these oils mixed with some water and inhale the aroma continuously
for up to an hour. This will improve mental health.
Aromatic oils can be mixed with bath water or massaged into painful areas of the body.
This therapy can be done while listening to music, reading a book, doing yoga, meditation or exercise.
